  1. It's a matter of taste I guess. I was so used to having the font smoothed in x86 Windows Vista that I missed that part in x64 Windows 7. The way I put it the last post was a slight exaggeration, though...
  2. Yes, for the love of god, somebody please do that. I have recently installed Windows 7 x64 and it looks soooooo ugly without GDI++
  3. I wish there was a version that works properly in 64-bit mode Or do you guys know something about that?
  4. You didn't try but does that mean that you can? I have neither Visual Studio nor any programming experience, but it seems like you do. If you could try to get this thing working, I'd be super-thankful and you would totally win the internets.
  5. Hello there, I am using GDI++ font smoothing and it looks flippin' sweet in Firefox and other applications, but it does not affect Windows Explorer at all. The problem is that I am using the 64-bit edition of Vista and therefore 64-bit applications seem to be incompatible to the font smoothing app. I have found GDI++ here in this forum and I'd like to know if there is some sort of trick to apply font smoothing to explorer as well. Here is a screenshot, Firefox uses smooth fonts but the Windows taskbar doesn't. Thanks! :-)
