  1. It seems that the problem has nothing to do with the brackets. Standalone Stack isn't able to show the shortcut icon and when I click on it I just gives me an unspecified error. "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" just doesn't work... how strange *EDIT* I noticed that all shortcuts to files inside C:\Program Files\.. don't work. Even when I start Standalone Stack in administrator mode. Shortcuts to C:\Program Files (86x)\... work fine ... what to do?
  2. It seems I can't open a shortcut to this path: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" Could it be because of the "(" and ")" symbols? Thanks!
  3. Yeah I understand that development for an OS that is still in development is kinda silly, but Windows 7 is working so smoothly and the little bugs that Avedesk has on Windows 7 might be easy to resolve... I was hoping somebody on the development team (or is it just AndreasV?) could take a quick look at it The beta will end begin august this year, but the release will be soon after that. Why not make AveDesk compatible before Windows 7 is released? I'm being real positive here Greets, Poof!
  4. Hi all, I'm trying out the Windows 7 Public Beta and I've been very pleased with it so far. I've been using AveDesk on Vista and I tried to see if it would still work on Windows 7, but it seems it doesn't run AveDesk perfectly. I was wondering if anybody else tried to run AveDesk on Windows 7 and had the same errors as me, which are the following: - Unable to use drag and drop on Trashcan PidlShortcut - Fading images show transparent borders cutting through the desklet I'm glad it's just these two errors, everything else seems to be working fine so far. Maybe AndreasV can take a look at the
  5. I got some strange image fading graphic artefacts. When an image in my widget fades there's this strange left and top border around it. Any suggestions on how I could fix this graphic bug?
  6. Well I just followed the instructions on the url I posted I hope Andrew doesn't mind, but to make things easier I'll just post my fixed Nubs.exe If you replace yours with it Nubs should also work on your 64x system Greets, Poof! Nubs_64x.zip
  7. I searched how to force 32bit executables run in 32bit mode on a 64bit system and I found this developer tool called corflags.exe and after changing the bit flags it works on my Vista 64bit Business OS! http://blogs.imeta.co.uk/sstrong/archive/2008/10/14/446.aspx I recommend Andrew to properly compile or use this developer tool to set the flags to have Numbs.exe only run in 32 bit mode. I'm so happy I'm finally able to try out this program Greets, Poof!

    I solved the problem, seems that you have to add brackets to the path parameter e.g. XML.GetValue('[//nodes/@attribute]');
  9. I'm working on an AveScripter gadget that fills a dropdownlist with nodes from a xml file online. I got it all working with the XMLHttpRequest object in Javascript, but because AveScripter uses its own XML system I'm trying use this system instead. I've tried to get the XML.GetValue() to return information from the xml file, but nothing seems to work. When I use the Javascript XMLHttpReqeust object or just Firefox everything is loaded correctly. Is there a way that I can see if the AveScripter XML object loaded anything at all? PS: I rather not give the url to the xml because I don
  10. No problem, I'm very glad you like it I'm going to post more desklets if people actually want to use them Poof
  11. Hi all, This is my first Ave app release post or any post for that matter. Because the other showcase hotcorner apps didn't work for me I created this really simpel working version. Download Here Hope you all like it, Poof Note: this app needs Avescripter 1.0.7 Update: Be sure to update to
