kchupe: Try turning off always on top option (Settings -> Behavior) That should make it so that it hides underneath active windows.

I currently only use RK Launcher, but I have, at one point, used RocketDock, ObjectDock, and RK Launcher together, and I find they all have their strengths. For me, RK Launcher was able to run stack docklet (for some reason, I couldn't get it to run on the other docks) and thus I have figured a way to have more shortcuts through that. I also find that RK Launcher looks better for me, but I use icon sets from all three! So, it's a personal choice, just something that you love, and you can't always put your finger on, lol

Well, I guess that's what I'll do, it isn't too much I suppose, compared to some software out there. Thanks for the information everyone.

Well, unless I want to pay for WB, then it's useless because it just screws up your computer appearance once the trial runs out, which I may do since my birthday is in a few days.

Scratch that, finally found a skin for it. But now my winroll isn't working with it...

When I'm running leftsider my CPU shows that it is above 50% (usually 70%+) constantly, even though no process is using near to that much, nor combination of them equal to that, but my taskmanager process uses absurd amounts of CPU, like 38% and stuff like that. I thought perhaps that leftsider was causing this (even though it wasn't using any cpu and had like 300 mem) I quit it by right clicking, and the mem usage of leftsider went up 300+, I just end processed it, and instantly my CPU usage went from 50/70+ down to like 14%. Any clues as to this? Stats: Vista Home Premium 2gb RAM Service Pack 1 Toshiba Satellite A215 AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55 1.80 GHz 32-bit Operating System I use Vista OS X customizing package (which helps with appearance and provides rk launcher)

I fixed it. I just had to go into the status tray and toggle it off and then on and it started putting it on the left for all my windows. Thanks for the links and the help guys!

Nah, I'm 32bit. I'll try rebooting, hopefully it will work all the way. Nope, didn't work. It just doesn't put the buttons on the left for my browser (Firefox, and apparently IE).

Much thanks! Do I need to restart for it to work fully, because it puts the buttons on the left side...for windows that are like folders and such, but for Firefox the buttons are on the right side, do you think a restart would fix this problem?

Any program that doesn't crash my appearance when the silly trial ends? Because I used Window Blinds on my XP before it crashed and when the trial ended I spent 3 days fixing my appearance after it screwed it up.

If you get Objectdock you can set it to make the taskbar disappear without any space there (works on mine that way atleast) and basically have it to auto-hide on a side and then have barely any icons (if any) on it and you'll rarely know it's there! (best solution I can think of). RK Launcher is able to hide the taskbar as well. Maybe someone should suggest that be built into Rocketdock

You might be able to just copy the entire FlashCards folder and load it to your new computer, not sure though, hope that helps santaninja

Hey everyone, pretty new to this customization thing, I got one going now, I used the VistaOSX package (I don't really care for it right now, I prefer the buttons to be on the left side) I had customized my late XP system far with Mac themes (using flyakite, though it messed me all up after the Window Blinds program trial ended.). But with my new Vista, I want to get this going all over again! So, what do you guys recommend I do for themes and such? My taste is dark, so I prefer grey-black themes (dull white will work) but buttons on the left is a must! I would love to have that little tab button that interacts winroll for me! Any suggestions? I have Objectdock, Rocket Dock, and now RK launcher, I'm set for docks, lol. I've patched my uitheme or whatever it is. I have SP1, 32bit. 2gb ram, 60gb hard drive, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 1.80 ghz. Any advice for me?
