  2. Blame the RIAA, not Apple. As to paying $1.29 over $.99...you know how many idiot teens there are that use iTunes, right? As long as it's the latest song, I don't think many will care about the price. Remember those people that would buy a CD for one song because it was the hottest item for a week? Yeah, the RIAA loves those kids.
  3. Go to their website and see if they have drivers (use the Windows Vista version, of course). My Compaq didn't have the video card recognized by Windows 7 but after installling the drivers from HP's website, everything was smooth as butter.
  4. Not to nitpick, but the reason people that purchased machines with Leopard preinstalled didn't line up to downgrade to Tiger is because when Apple releases a machine with a specific OS, that is the minimum that it can run. Plus, since retail copies of Tiger were PPC only and new machines are Intel, that goes into effect as well. Now, don't get me wrong. A lot of people were happy Leopard and had no issues. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them and didn't start using Leopard until 10.5.4 was released. The good thing is that my machine was running great with Tiger and so I had no need to upg
  5. Actually, I believe the new icon is for all Apple portables. I have a 1.67GHz G4 (the last revision 15" before the Intel switch) and I have that icon. There might be new options for the MacBook/MacBook Pro machines though, I can't confirm of course.
  6. Not sure honestly. I know that WebKit (Safari engine) has built in support for a lot of CSS functions that Firefox doesn't have yet. You could try the 3.1 beta of FF to see if it works there though.
  7. It's CSS. text-shadow: 2px 2px 1px; Something along those lines. Play with those numbers until it looks good to you.
  8. Yep, you would think with a media package from AT&T that the iPhone would have MMS. I know, I can email pics but not every one of my friends or family can get email on their phone.
  9. Unfortunately, no landscape mode for Mail or the ability to send more than one pic at a time. Oh well, my phone is updated now.
  10. That's because Yahoo now owns the rights to Inquisitor. http://www.newsfirex.com/blog/
