I'm running XP. all the files should be there, I just executed the .aveinstall package. Yep, the SoundMixer.DLL is there. Yep. I actually managed to get it to work by rebooting my comp and then running the .aveinstall again, but it still doesn't show up on the list. However it's still not working properly in that it doesn't sync up with my volume or respond to volume changes (in other words, it does nothing).

I've installed AveScript, and executed the aveinstall package that I downloaded. As you can see it's been correctly installed to the Desklet directory, but doesn't show up on the Desklet list. What could be wrong?
