  1. Then why did Apple join the Blu-ray Disc Association in March of 2005? Sounds to me like they plan to use it...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005
  2. No, the MacBook only comes with a glossy screen. The MacBook Pro is the one where you can choose.
  3. I love and recommend WordPress, but I guess it is more aimed for blogging. Drupal is a popular CMS, take a look at that.
  4. I don't think the speed difference is that much. Maybe it will save you a few seconds. It's really up to you if you think you'll need a DVD burner or not.
  5. Yes. You can create the design in Photoshop, slice it, and then code it.
  6. Google Talk runs on Jabber. Just follow this http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/ans...py?answer=24075
  7. How do you even know for sure what the "new" iPod design looks like?
  8. You could try Nero. It's a free trial, but works for 30 days and should take care of what you want to do.
  9. People should know better than to use IE by now.
  10. I know english isn't your first language and all, but search the forums next time please. It's included in this download: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=34473

  12. Yeah. Seems alright, although it's kind of limited to what you can do. It's nice that it integrated with Picasa, but I think you HAVE to use Picasa to upload. I also don't think that you can use it to host images to link to on blogs and such, but I'm not sure. If you're looking for a photo storage/sharing site, I suggest you check out Zooomr, which just announced free pro accounts (with 2 GB monthly upload) free for bloggers! http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=36643
  13. The MacBook Pro and the iMac both have a Mobility ATI Radeon x1600, and both are underclocked. However, the MacBook Pro has the option for a 256 MB x1600, while the iMac only has the 128 MB.
  14. Usually they don't change the price when they update stuff.
  15. If you decide to go with the MBP, I suggest you wait at least until WWDC next month, because they may announce the new upgrades. It will probably have a new case, better processors (with 64 bit), and hopefully bugs fixed like the heat issue.
  16. Zooomr is a photo sharing site quite similar to Flickr, minus a few features but plus a couple cool ones that Flickr lacks. Zooomr 2.0 will also be released this Friday which will add a slew of new features, stability, and speed increases. Zooomr recently announced that they are giving away free pro accounts to bloggers! A pro account which you normally have to pay for, will get you 2 GB monthly upload limit versus the 50 MB that free basic accounts get. To get your free Zooomr pro account: 1. Sign up for a Zooomr account. 2. Upload an image or two. 3. Publish a blog post featuring you
  17. Next time, install XP first before Ubuntu so you won't have to mess with this.
  18. I ran across the screenshot here: http://www.deviantart.com/view/34696316/It doesn't say.
  19. Don't double post! I think this site uses the animation. Try logging out and logging in and you may see it, if I recall correctly.
  20. Why would that be a logical order? I think their home desktops and notebooks like the iMac and MacBook are their more popular computers. Now that they're out, they're also available for purchase in time for the new school year. Good for sales.
