  1. Hey dpsleep, If you could do that I would really appreciate it. It's exactly what I need. Thanks
  2. I use AveDesk and have done so for a while now, and I love it. But unfortunately I'm one of the lazy ones who use other people's configs, scripts, etc. but doesn't necessarily know how it all works. I'm wanting to put the final touch on my AveDesk configuration by adding 2 desktop displays, my external IP address, and my local IP address. I continually work on different networks and would find this info really useful. I found a desklet called What's My IP, which now shows my external IP address. But I can't seem to find a way to show my internal IP address. I'm messed around with SysStat
  3. I have AveDesk 1.2 installed, with what I believe is the latest automounter module installed, and everything works great..mostly. My USB drive, and Digital Media card show up automatically when I insert media, but I have a problem with Mapped Network Drives. I have 5 of them, and don't want them to automount...too many icons on the desktop. My question is: is there a way to turn off the automounting feature on specific drives? I can't seem to see how to do that, and would appreciate any help. Thanks for this great app.
  4. Actually, I used to use Samurize, but like AveDesk a lot better... My hope is that this little pop3 e-mail feature gets more attention in the future, that's all.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion duyvan. I checked out the link and the docklet worked fairly well. As I suggested in the avedesk requests thread which was shut-down, I just think that there is a big room for improvement on this one. Don't get me wrong; I really appreciate that Andreas took the time to create this docklet, I just think that there are a few problems with it that could be finished. I applied it, but it crashed upon startup at first. After reinstalling 2 times, I got it going, but then found that there was no successful way to change the mailcheck interval. As well, I was unable to use
  6. Here's something I think people would really appreciate: a docklet/desklet (I'm still learning here) that checks pop3 mail... I've been looking for this for a couple of days, and although I've seen a couple of docklets/desklets that say they can do this, they are either: a) only good for checking mail in an open e-mail program, or very confusing and prone to crash. I think if someone had time to create or even perfect some of the pop3 checkers out there, this is something a lot of people would use...
  7. Oh right...I didn't even think to check Object Dock's docklets...thanks for the help, I will check this out and post my results here for others to see...
  8. Well I feel like a kid in a candy store now...have just started using AveDesk yesterday, and have spent lots of time reading, playing, and searching (note the searching part ). I can't seem to find a pop3 e-mail checker for avedesk, and before I gave up, I wanted to check to make sure I wasn't missing something. I know you can use the "Mail Notifier" desklet/docklet to check main in an open e-mail program, but I'm looking for a desklet/docklet that will check for e-mail without the app always being open. I know I always used the "Mail Notifier" docklet from Yz Dock, and it worked re
  9. I'd still love to see it (automatic startup I mean)....maybe you should pm him
  10. As was said above...it would be great for this docklet to start up on it's own (when the Dock starts at system boot or whatever)...so that you didn't have to start it manually... Great docklet though...I really like it (Y)
  11. I'm using Peteross's Milk Skin for Object Bar, and in my opinion, it is awesome. I've never used Object Bar before, but it is really sweet.... I'm trying to make my own little changes to this theme, but I can't figure out how to change the color of the fonts in the drop down menus... I've been editing the RGB values in notepad, and resaving. It seems like I've found every other font color besides the one I want... I did use SkinStudio a bit, but boy it seems confusing, and I still couldn't find the vaule I was looking for... If anyone can tell me how to do this, I would be really thankful.
