  1. It's Kwin/KDE 3.5 with Baghira CVS theme
  2. 2 Safari clones here, neither as good as firefox though - http://www.osx-e.com/downloads/applications/savanna.html http://www.osx-e.com/downloads/applications/safari.html
  3. Thanks to some help from bonafide I've managed this so far. Though the milk style never seem to look that good on anything but a mac.
  4. Great, thanks for that. A lot of help indeed! I'm using baghira cvs as per the tutorial. I'm having trouble with it on suse so I'm about to compile it on ubuntu so your reply came at a good time. I've sent you a pm with my email address if you could sort me out with the fonts when you have time. Thanks again.
  5. I had a pretty much pixel perfect tiger emulation on windows but after 2 hard drives blew in a week I lost windows including backups and never bothered re-installing. On linux I haven't bothered macifying it because I've never seen anything that comes really close til now. @ bonafide That's the best mac 2 linux emulation I've seen. I've been following the tut but I have a few of questions for you - 1) What icon set you using? 2) How did you remove the dropmarkers from the konqueror tollbar buttons? I've been trying allsorts. 3) What font are you using on the menubar? I have the usual
  6. Many apologies for not responding, I have a young baby and he is quite ill at the moment so I haven't had time to do much with the skin. Next time I post the theme should be finished.
  7. The new dark platinum style remindes me of the ancient crux style in Gnome.
  8. I made a version for my own use. I never thought of releasing it since there didn't seem to be much interest. It will need polishing up a bit with better icons but otherwise it's pretty close. I'm not on windows at the moment, when I get onto it I'll post a screenie, see if anyone is interested.
  9. Yes, that clearly was the problem. All is well again now. Thanks.
  10. Can anyone tell me howCan anyone tell me how or if it's possible to customize the Nautilus toolbars? I want to remove all except the back/forward buttons, including the zoom buttons, "view as" box and the word "location" and move the location bar onto the same toolbar as the nav buttons. I've found some xml files in /usr/share/nautilus and managed to remove up, stop, reload, home and computer but I can't work out how to remove the back/forward dropmarkers or do the other stuff. or if it's possible to customize the Nautilus toolbars? I want to remove all except the back/forward buttons, includi
  11. I've been using sysstats with avedesk for quite some time but all of a sudden none of the sysstats internet based desklets (dashboard weather, dashboard world clock, safari RSS) are connecting to the internet. They were working perfectly fine up until yesterday but now nothing. All other programs are connecting as normal, I've checked my firewall settings I've tried replacing my whole avedesk program files and app data directories from backups and still no good. The only thing I can think of that might have messed things up, though I don't see why, is that I was messing around with some sysst
  12. Doesn't Firefox automatically take on the visual style and match the theme anyway? If you want the buttons to match the standard xp icons, there is an internet explorer theme for Firefox which has xp style toolbar icons and the rest of the theme should match in with the vs. [EDIT] I believe someone in this thread - http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=343045 was working on a matching theme. I haven't read the whole thread (69 pages) but it might be worth checking out.
  13. Display Properties>Appearance>Effects>Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts - Change to cleartype. You also need the LucidaMacBold font and the userChrome.css example which are both found earlier in this thread. The google image is also located around this thread, which you need to put in the search plugins folder in your Firefox program directory.
