Why expire ? First, you should pronounce it the french way We tought of that name because it inspired us liberty, softness as for iEx 0.3: it has never born, there is like 2 lines of code in it. I kept working on the algos with the DDrawTest app, because I wanted to have an algo to start with before starting iEx. @contra: no no, I meant UNIX, minix should go to hell Well, I think basically all X11/OpenGL and G++ supported platform

Okay guys, let me explain the situation This year at my school we have to do a free project. Some do games, others non related to computers, and others robotics etc... Well, what I'm trying to do is to present iEx as my free project It would be greate cause I would be working on it more often The objective would be to make a BETTER clone than Exposé itself. With plugin, 3D and stuff. Also, we are considering at maybe do a cross compilable version (Windows AND Unix if we use OpenGL), but that's not in the program for now. Well, that's the objective What's real is that I could

    Good News !

what's Unicom ? You mean Unicode ? Yes, iEx 0.2 was in unicode, so will iEx 0.3 will
  17. Well, I persnollay thinks the X-Box ownz the PS2, just in term of performance. Did you play Unreal on PS2 ? Sluggy. Also, the PS2 doesn't do antialiasing. As for developpers, X-Box is great because the mods for porting a game (or a prog) are very few. Look at Stepmania, is has a PS2 and even the sources are made to compile with the XBox SDK. Also the fact of the HD is not so pointless, you don't have to burn your games to play it (yeah warez is bad). BUT, the PS2 has a BIG advantage: EYE TOY.
  18. Well, I just reopen it to tell you all what I'm doing. So now I'm working hard on a organizing algorithm and a ideal Zoom finder The algo is quite done, but the zoom finder needs a lot of work though.. Topic re-closed Have a nice day siwu
  19. Exactly ! Hmmm, I find myself very attractive on this photo, don't you ? I'm gonna start a poll
  20. Okay, here's me (yes, with the mic :/) EDIT: what a night...
  21. I myself have a MX700 and it's a pretty damn piece of work. @Aqua-girl: how much did you bought you 20'' cinema display ? I WANT ONE ! EDIT: OMG, just saw it at $1299.... if i had the money....
  22. it has to be pretty damn good to make us wait like that oh well, I can live with that /me going to watch episodes of that 70's show in his bed
  23. Well, I'm plenty open to donations lol As for WinExpose, the "flicker" thing you're all talking about is actually WinExpose making each window on front in order to shoot them. That's why it works on 98/ME and 2K. And that's why also it doesn't have some black fields that iEx 0.2 had. I'll implement this feature in 0.3 but it won't be the one by default. Also I tried WinExpose and besides I good organizing algo, I don't think it worth the money. It's a basic app which has basic functionality. @Wizard: You're right, resizing on a blank screen is faster than on top on a image, I
  24. Well, simply I don't like the idea to have a framework. It reminds me too much the VB runtimes (in MUCH bigger of course) and I don't like to oblige people to dl a 25mb framework just in order to run an application that does 50kb in size. I looked at the language itself and I admit in looks pretty attractive, but not being able to do a standalone app doesn't make want to prog with it. EDIT: btw I don't even use MFC, I all start from the WinMain() , that's maybe why I don't like frameworks
  25. Ahahaha, their organizing algo is simple line by line ! Even me I'm trying to do a better organizing algo lol At least WinExpose has a pretty good organizing algo lol, but this... and it's sold $10 ! I can't believe it EDIT: OH ! and it's done in C#... OMG... the first one here who buy this gonna have my foot in his sorry ass.
