  1. a good solution is Movienizer, it allows not only to organize your movies by categories, genres, year, rating etc, but also download all information about a movie from many intenet databases. You can save the info and update it any time, create and add screenshots, download covers and photos of actors. It aslo has a build-in player, and you can play DVD and AVI movies directly from the program.
  2. surely Google, sometimes yahoo, is good as well
  3. import the video in Windows Movie Maker, in the timeline view, click on audio tab drag the audio wave to the tab below called audio/music, thus only the audio remains from the video then you can publish the movie which is saved as audio
