Now I have upgraded to a 15" powerbook, I have found another cool app. iComic. Handy for a daily dose of Dilbert and MegaTokyo

Update to Favourite Apps List

- OmniWeb 5 Beta (Because I don't like Unexpected Quits)

- CyberDuck (Because unregistered Transmit is lovelier)

+ TigerLaunch (Saves me time)

+ Tag (Mostly for PHP work and being able to tamper with stuff and see results instantly)

+ NicePlayer (When you're low on RAM or want full-screen QT movies)

~ Screen Movie Recorder (Would be a great app; if it captured the right areas and created less stupidly sized files (a 4min video of 320x240 area was 220MB))

Quicksilver is basically spotlight come early. The website tells you nothing, but it is a damn fast *intelligent* search feature which is so useful. It's one of those "How did I work without it" things...

I'm going to buy a Mac soon and I'm trying to visit all the sites that you guys have provided, but I can't manage to figure out what is www.macosx****tail.com I have tried replacing the * with the "appropriate" word but still don't know what is it. Could anyone tell me what the site is? Thanks

New one:

A virtual desktop manager for OS X. Lets you have loads of virtual desktops with spiffy transitions between them. Alpha release app, but really, really stable.

I don't like that app. Used it for a couple of weeks, but hated it b/c it's hard to find/make a skin for the ugly pager, and it doesn't work if you set it as a startup item. pretty clever though. I just want to be able to designate items to open on a different desktop on startup (and make it start).

I don't use the pager, only the keyboard shortcuts. I'll give virtue a go though.

EDIT: OK, Virtue is tonnes better. People, go get Virtue!

Virute is great, but I still wanna designate apps to only open on a desktop. But it's ok ;)
