Charging More For Iphone Apps?

7 posts in this topic

Depends on the app... if it's crap, then yes. But if it's really useful, it could cost even more

Hm, good point... how useful would you guys deem a meditation-related app? Stuffed with features and configurable settings?

Personally I wouldn't used this kind of app. However that's not to say it's not a good idea. Again it all depends on how it was marketed and if it is pitched at the right type of people. Are there the same type of app's out there and how do they stack up against this one. Does this app offer something the other don't? There is always the free trial hook.

I've even paid 15$ for an App, so if the App is worth it's price I would buy it for 5$. But I think most of the Apps in the Appstore are priced at 0,99$. Maybe you would like to make a special offer? First week it will cost 2$ and then 5$?
