It's impossible, because:
1. I installed global hook, using .dll, so if it doesn't work then your windows doesn't give the dock to use global hooks
Also magnification and labels depend on this mouse event (I mean global hook from dll). So if windows doesn't want to make it possible, sorry I can't do anything about it. May be you have got some programs, like spyware which close software like my dock using global hooks.

No need for making fun of it...
Unlike you, he hasn't English as his native language but, in spite of that, he's trying to communicate with you in English; perhaps you could get better results if you try communicating with him in Russian. Why don't you try doing so?

Why would Windows not allow the use of global hooks if the magnification worked in the last versions that I've used? It worked perfectly with 5.4 but I had to update after the dock started to malfunction. Now things don't work. I have Vista 64-bit installed.

I've got a problem...
Since yesterday, I keep on getting the error:

I haven't done anything to the program (like installing new desklets, etc.).
So today I installed v5.6, no problem; then installed just two desklets, still no problem. After a while, I get the same error...
Does anyone know what's causing this?
edit: anyways, I just reinstalled it, and everything's running ok, I'll see what happens later.

Which Docklets do you use, please? Can you try with a fresh install but without any Docklet for a week or so, to see if an Docklet or the Dock is causing it?
But it's a very stranger Error... any Idea what this "boost"-thing is?

Yes it's a really weird problem idd... I didn't do anything and the dock just crashed yesterday and since then I couldn't get it fixed.
A few hours ago, the dock worked perfectly again, but now, since my restart, the dock doesn't work again.
With all respect to the maker, the docklets I added were XMail and XCal.
I will reinstall it, but without the docklets like you suggested. If I don't get any new errors, I'll know where the problem is.
Thanks for your reply!

And now (after fresh install) I get the access violation error..
("at address 004D9B18 in module 'XWindowsDock.exe - read of address 00000010")
Like estrahon, is there a place where we can find previous versions of XWindows Dock? Maybe that would help somehow...
