Yeh but ive read lots of people saying they cant uninstall it, or explorer.exe wont run after installing it, or system restore wont work, etc. I wouldn't trust Vista OS X
Yeah, you could try hackintosh, but that depends on how often you use your apps that only run on windows. If you use them alot, then you would constanly have to change what OS you were running. IF you dont, well snow leopard is only $39 so you could try it. Or you could do what i did, I use lots of different programs and skins to make my vista into Snow Leopard. Ill attach a list i made. I also bought a Apple Keyboard and Mouse 2 days ago so if you really want it to look like a mac you could do that.
You will need to download and replace the uxtheme, themeui and some other dll file if you want to use a visual style, or vistaglazz will do it for you, here is the Link
If you want it, im uploading the spirit of leopard visual style (along with some other things that came with the zip file) by ZeusOSX. here is his Deviant art page
One problem found with ZeusosX's theme was that i use iVista RK Launcher. It has the genie effect minimise like in mac dock and whenevr i use his style it really slows it down.
Sorry if the download link to RK launcher isn't on that page, im not sure where it is...
A really good thing would be XWD 2.0.0 when it is released. hopefully very soon. you should really visit the Forum
Edit: i found a download linkfor Rk launcher.

Mac OS X is a very pretty operating system, but beauty runs only skin deep... An operating system by itself is a poor thing -- it's the applications that run on top of it that matter... Virtualization software like Parallels Desktop for Mac won't solve the problem. Parallels can't run even the most basic Vista games such as FreeCell, Hearts, Pinball, Solitaire and Minesweeper, because it doesn't support DirectX 9. And virtualization software creates big problems for enterprises with regard to volume licensing, technical support, creating standard enterprisewide images and so on. So it's no good for running enterprise applications either. Vista beats OS X here, hands down...
