How can I get better results for my Wordpress blog? I use Wordpress.com, not Wordpress.org. So everything I do is online.

It really limits your options. I'll prefer blogger.com as its more search engine friendly. However, you should ping your blog regularly with pingomatic soon as you publish a new entry.

i Also suggest you to to use blogger for your blog as it is developed by google and it is much more Search Engine friendly. Google pays more respect to the blog in blogger than anyother.

Wordpress.com is cool for backlink but you have very little control on customizing it.

This does not affect whether your site is .com or .net .You just need to know the algorithm of the Google.

Out of the box, WordPress is SEO-friendly. It puts important information in the right places by default, so as long as you fill in the appropriate information, you’ll have a good start in the search engine rankings..
