One of the usability patterns I've noticed about my Mac at work is that is saves clicks where possible. Context menus are one of the elements where this shows most.

On Windows, right-clicking does not bring up a context menu until the mouse button is released. This means that at least several clicks are required for common context menu operations like Copy, Open With, etc.

On OS X, context menus open as soon as the mouse is right-clicked. This allows me to hover over the command I want without ever letting go the mouse button, and then execute that command by releasing the mouse button. One click, for even the most nested of context menu options.

I suspect that this behavior was designed to compliment the one-button design of most Apple mice. But in any case, now that I've described what I'm talking about, is there any application that would help me mimic this behavior in Windows?

I guess that this is rather difficult to realize because right-clicking and dragging in Windows automatically pops up a context menu for moving, copying oder linking.
The point is that this is a native basic Windows feature and I guess the changes that have to be done to the system would be impossible/very low-level stuff.

But don't take this as the only answer, perhaps there is an application somewhere in the web.
