i really like it, and it's almost exactly the same as it is on a mac
but the backgrounds you added in the newest version don't work at my computer...
don't know why.
it says step out of the frame, and then nothing happens...
is this normal?

EDIT: OK it works
my camera is old, so i have to wait a while, but it works

Mine also said "photobooth.exe has stopped working". The swf is working though. I am using Windows 7 x64, if that has to do with anything

I've already installed FP10 and IE7, changed the adobe settings to always allow local to use mic/camera etc, and it stil does not work.
When I opened the .exe file it just showed this.

Would appreciate some help.

open Photobooth.swf (not the .exe file) with firefox or I.E.
Right click and select Setup (or settings... something like that, mine is in spanish) now you're going to be able to allow the webcam. Check the "remember" (again, I don't know what says in english) box and you're ready to go, now you can execute the Photobooth.exe without problems.
I hope you will understand what I'm trying to explain, good luck.

MS Security Essentials and Malwarebytes have gives it the all clear BUT Online Armor notifies me that it tries to modify IExplore.exe, and identifies it as keylogger.
I believe this is a probably due to poor coding of your app rather than any true malware, but I don't see why it needs to access to IExplore at all?
Can you provide a link to the swf file so I can see if this asks for the same permissions?

Photobooth for Windows 7
Up until now I decided to update it for Windows 7.
New features:
- Support for Windows 7 win-tab (Flip3D)
- Added a shadow border
- Replaced WebBrowser (IE Component) with Flash OCX
Requirements:
- Latest Adobe Flash Activex installed (that one for Internet Explorer not for Firefox, Opera or any other browser)
- Some patience
NOTE: Video recording is not supported and will not unless the original author (Karthik Tharavaad) updates its work.
Get it here: Photobooth 4W7
Mirror: at Deviantart
Hope you like it
