Got a problem installing flyakite osx. completed installationprocess, rebooted, some things changed (icons, some bars in the i-explorer and others), but after rebooting several times i still have have this little mask on the right side of the blue xp taskbar (!) grining at me:
hey newbie! I installed 1 item of flyakite which will be activated after reboot on your computer. Seeya.
...or something similar.
i would like to ask this little f***ing mask, why the rest of the stuff isn't installed but it dosn't like me and disappears, when i come closer with my mouse...
the ux6patcher or petting the laptop dosn't work. any other ideas?

flyakite was made for Windows XP, SP1 & SP2, I believe. Also, some of the bundled programs and tweaks are outdated and should not even be checked to install if you wish to use the still functioning parts of the program. Search around these forums, there are useful and helpful accounts of other peoples' experiences using FOSX.
My advice to you is, verify what OS you are trying to install on, set a system restore point before attempting the install, prune down the components you wish to install to what makes sense as the safest and non-problematic. I still can get Flyakite to replace system icons without issue (don't replace moviemk.exe as it will break windows movie maker.) If you have problems, just uninstall and roll back.
