Hi!

Any good image preview software out there? I'm not talking about IrFanView or ACDsee (however that's spelled); I'm looking for something dead simple but that can read all common image files.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I believe that AvePreview supports all common image files, plus it sports a nice "Leopard" skin. Search for it on DA.

Will you please give a link of that software. Is that one free of cost ? I also require and I do want to have one which can be used in my website as well.

Ok thanks guys! I knew I had seen Avepreview somewhere but I couldn't seem to find it!! It's actually right here = http://www.aqua-soft...ead.php?t=13900

And as for popcon, pretty cool app too. Not quite what I was looking for, but charliek2 you can check it out here = http://www.winmatrix...showtopic=21745. It's confusing on Google because there's a POP3 connector software called popcon as well.

Thanks again.

I use a old version of ACDSee (v2.41). It is dead simple and you can configure it to just show the topbar and the image.e

Björn - thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I had used acdsee32 2.4'ish back in the time of the dinosaurs, but had somehow forgotten all about it...

After reading your suggestion, I searched the net, found the 2.41 version (pretty difficult - managed to find a download only after finding out that the install file's name is acdc32241.exe - doh...)

I installed it and set it up like you suggested... And BOY is it nice & fast...! :D

To all you folks who just want a simple, fast pic viewer that can take all formats & not much else, forget all about picasa - and especially more recent versions of ACDSee - and get good ol' 2.41... Absolutely brilliant... :)

Can you link me to it, PoulNyrup? Also, a preview would be great. Thanks.
