Hi all,
I'm trying out the Windows 7 Public Beta and I've been very pleased with it so far. I've been using AveDesk on Vista and I tried to see if it would still work on Windows 7, but it seems it doesn't run AveDesk perfectly. I was wondering if anybody else tried to run AveDesk on Windows 7 and had the same errors as me, which are the following:
- Unable to use drag and drop on Trashcan PidlShortcut
- Fading images show transparent borders cutting through the desklet
I'm glad it's just these two errors, everything else seems to be working fine so far. Maybe AndreasV can take a look at these errors and release a fix for them. I would really like to keep using Avedesk on my new OS and continue working on some new desklets I was developing. I haven't seen any new AveDesk releases so I'm hoping the development on AveDesk hasn't stopped...
Greets,
Poof!
PS: I recommend everybody to try out the Windows 7 Beta. It's stable, beautiful, faster then XP and very user friendly.

You have to remember, Windows 7 is a BETA, don't go getting to comfortable with it since your gonna have to buy it this year if you wish to continure using it. and i doubt anyone will make updates to ther apps for an operating system thats still a BETA. so i doubt this will be fixed till Windows 7 is officially released....

Yeah I understand that development for an OS that is still in development is kinda silly, but Windows 7 is working so smoothly and the little bugs that Avedesk has on Windows 7 might be easy to resolve... I was hoping somebody on the development team (or is it just AndreasV?) could take a quick look at it
The beta will end begin august this year, but the release will be soon after that. Why not make AveDesk compatible before Windows 7 is released?
I'm being real positive here
