I've also got the problem with the application icon that goes on some icons. I don't know whats wrong with them, but in your stack docklet for RocketDock, and even on XWD these folders that have this icon in FingerXP don't show. Alot of folders in My Documents have this icon as well, and they don't show in either docks either.

EDIT: Oh and I use Icontweaker with LeopardXP Blue as well.
EDIT2: And another thing, the only way I can use them in XWD is when i made shortcuts to them, and kept them in that folder.XWD notices the shortcuts and displays them but not the original folders.
And, here's a post I made a while ago in XWD bug report thread, just to show you what I mean http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showpost.ph...64&postcount=46

Is there something "special" about these folders?

Hey all :) I also started coding Finder and I don't know if matonga agreed to make this application together. what did I make ? it's http://nemecsx.narod...ndowsFinder.zip and I think I'll be able to make all interface and matonga will make cover flow.... so I'm still waiting for answer of matonga.

I think you two should work together allways (two minds are better than one), you should let him help you with xwindows.
e.g. I think Matonga could help you with the magnification problem.

great work Matonga, you never disappoint me.

@Panta:

I dunno, but probably you just go to screen appearance, or themes, or something like that, and you see the Aero theme is currently selected. Then you select another theme and Aero stuff is then disabled (you notice this as you then see window borders are not transparent anymore, and probably Switcher and other Aero-dependant-apps stop working).

@Kittierocker:

Mmm... not only it is the same than I have here, but also you're using the same IconTweaker pack (LeopardXP Blue). It works fine here. I'll have to investigate this more...

okay

Matonga,

SERIOUSLY WELL DONE!

Great app, thoroughly impressed with all your apps.

I'm running an Advent 4211 with 2GB Ram, and this little netbooks performing excellently with all the apps.

After considering whether or not to put OSX on this system, or try my luck with the apps out there, I'm gonna watch these develop and carry on tweaking.

Keep up the good work man, and Happy New Year!!

Hi Mati, it's a great job! Congratulations! :D

So, fix me if i'm wrong, in Apple's Finder, it reads the EXIFF tags to reorient the pictures in CoverFlow mode? and in Tiles mode? (look at this in the original one)

It's a great job (again), I know how difficult it's to make a clone for an application (most if the original application was developed for another OS) and I know how much you are working on it (to make things that not exist in Windows), it's the real hard-work for a developer (I know it too).

I'm waiting for the next release!! (with drag&drop and Title-Bar skinnable :P -I haven't a WinXP MacOS skin and I no plan to install it-). Thanks friend!

Well i must say that this is one of the best Leopard Finder clones ever.So i want to ask some questions :
1.Will the places bar be customizable?
2.Will there be a right click menu?
3.Will the toolbar be customizable

Here is a capture of how it looks for me { I have WindowBlinds and GDI++ }

Matonga has a Mac I'm sure, I'm pretty sure he knows what Finder looks like. ;) And FingerXP hasn't even been released yet, so of course it's behind in a few steps!

Ah, yes there is. I played around a bit, and files that you manually changed the icon by going Properties -> Customize -> Change Icon have this application icon. :) The rest that are modified by Icontweaker show the folder icon.

Added the possibility to customize the Places list.

Just take a look at FingerXP.ini (I promise I'll implement an easier way).

Also when running for first time, FingerXP.exe launches an Index out of bounds(0) error. Please extract FingerXP to some folder then run it twice. The first time will launch error, then it will never show error again. I'm trying to debug this.
