The Logon screen is the file "logonui.exe".
The Bootscreen is the file "ntoskrnl.exe".
Both should be in C:/windows/system32.
Than download those two files from the internet. I´d suggest to download SP3 and extract it to a temp folder. In the subfolder should be those two files.
Change that to default with replacer. (search for it here)

I just have german ones. Maybe someone with english XP can zip them for you.

PS.: Doesn´t work to extract them from the service packs?

You download the SP3 (or 2 ) for Window XP from Microsoft. Then extract it to a temopary folder. Then search in the folder for those two files.
