I am going to remove my Apple Emulation (
http://www.markraats...e_Emulation.htm) resource off the grid because of excessive hot-linking and a 300% increase of my bandwidth usage ...
Due to limited development time available to me, I will also not be releasing much community orientated product any longer.
If there is anyone who would like to host the more popular application releases I have listed there. Please PM me.
Cheers All

To bad but, hopefully this is a good sign for you on personal/professional note.
Definitely understand the development time & bandwidth issue.
Maybe have a chat with Alang over at OSXe...maybe he's got some room but, I hear he's kept busy with all of his sites.
Just a thought.

osx-e isn't anymore?

Bad news.
I've got an idea, would anybody like to help me build something like a new OSX-e?

Hi Raats,
Wouldn't it be possible for you to move most of the stuff over to your deviantART page...?

Very sad. The site was so good.
Couldn´t you outsource the downloads to i.e. rapidshare to save bandwidth and let the site live as it is.
Was very helpful at the biginning of my emulation attempts.

That's a shame, cause your site was one of the best-emulation we site I have'd and will ever see. Very sad news indeed.

Cheers all ...
@SirSmiley - Thanks for your kind thoughts. As an old man (me) I'm happy to say that nearly everything I do is simply because I like to do it. Unfortunately between the work I do at my office and the work I do for Hollywood, time is just a little scarce...
@Austin123 - LOL cheers mate. Even though I have been in design for decades its always good to know what people DON'T like...
@ Husaini HB/Björn/The iApple - Not to worry good sir's. I won't go away, I'll just downscale and simplify my life a little. As PoulNyrup suggested, its always possible to keep some of the files on DA and that's what I'll do. Schmrom has also kindly offered my apps a place on his elegant new web portal (
http://www.my-mes.com) - take a look!
