can't vote on this one, since I have only used OD, but without any problems, and it does everything I need it to, so I never felt the need to take a look at RK.

I find RK superior to both. But if i had to choose, it would go with rocketdock

Hmmm......using a Mac, so yeah. The original Mac dock.
LoL, back on topic.....I would go with RKLauncher as well, after I made the switch back on windows from object dock, I've never looked back.

This debate has been going on forever, this was the most recent one
here.
It's all down to what you prefer and how it looks and feels.
I'd suggest try them because everyone will all have their own option.

I'm still using Y'z Dock... tried RK once, didn't stick with it because I didn't see any particular advantages over Y'z. My needs are sufficed with Y'z, so I'll stick with it.

Y'z Dock for me aswell. Maybe because I'm not interested in fancy effects, but I just need a launcher with the right set of feature. Shift-click is essential for me, together with fast folder menues (middle click). And auto-hide delay, that RK doesn't offer.
And overall, Y'z is lighter :|

objectdock plus.
has every feature I could want in a dock, plus tabs.
only downside is you can't drag files into the dock folders

I've yet to try Rocketdock, but I've been a RKL user for a very long time. I did make the switch to OD+ just recently to test it out and the only thing I did like (something that RKL didn't offer) was tabs and allow me to use bigger indicators. The latter is more of an aesthetic thing lol.

Bingo.
Objectdock with side tabs for the win. Plus, Objectdock is made by a brand company, Stardock.
