You could try WinFX by Stardock, it doesn't have that effect AFAIK, but there are other cool ones included.

Did you guys even read what I posted? Look at WinFX by Stardock, it has tons of effects for Windows, and it goes system-wide .. >_>

Who said that they'd pay for it?
LOL, jk. As for free items, there was something Ave released that had some sort of window effects. Don't know if it pertained to the whole system though :X
You could of course give Ubuntu and Compiz Fusion a try (although thats a bit too much for a solution

)

MacRulesWorld what you are saying is different from what was being requested.
Wanting a window to open/close with the same effect as AveDesk is not the same as it minimizing/maximizing to a dock.
As for the Genie/Aladdin Effect from the dock I'm not sure if that's a feature of Object dock plus? The only free one is compatible with RKLauncher.

is there a way, that the scripter of AveDesk could write a single function of the Genie effect.
So that i can add this on my one to all of my windows.
(i would than write a script, that proves, if a window will be closed, an than open automatical the function, an this function then does the genie effect on this window)
and yes i did not use WindowFX, cause i will get the effect for free^^

The Genie Effect aka Aladdin's Lamp Effect for RK Launcher is when your window opens/closes to the dock like a "genie" coming out of a magic lamp. RK Launcher only has the close option.
Not sure if any of the movie's still are working but, the old original thread is here:
