I assume your asking how to increase a torrents download speed? Set the maximum upload speed for tomato torrent to something under 30KB/s (i personally use 5 KB/s and works great, but it might not for others)

I use 20KB/s in uTorrent, so anywhere between 5 and 30 is good place for uploads, I think.

Well it depends on your service provider. try setting the upload limit to about 75 kpbs. It just works all the time. try seeding after leeching.

I had such problem too. Cannot download fast. I have 256kbit connection and on most trackers need to seed a lot, but my upload speed is even less than download. I solved this problem with Torrent Ratio Keeper. It increases upload speed, so it increases my raio and tracker gives more seeds. Now I keep my ratio about 2.0 and can download with full speed.

ISPs tend to take note if you have an upload speed higher than 10kb/s, so for safety, and speed (my isp limit speeds, the bastards), I limit mine to that.
My download speeds have trebled.

You should call the ISP too high your upstream speed and downstream speed.
It more useful. Actually ISP has give average speed.

Many users in India are paying the same amount of money for a dial-up, they could be getting a 50 times faster connection with a DSL. So what i suggest is to do a google search on some of the best Internet Service Providers here in India. I personally recommend Bsnl Broadband. Bsnl provides a home plan, offering bandwidth around 256Kbps upto 2Mbps with monthly charges of Rs 250, with a free download/upload limit of 1GB. Bsnl also has special plans for the rural areas. However, if you are a heavy internet user and download lots of stuff from the web, you must opt for the Bsnl Broadband’s Home Unlimited Plan. The plan includes unlimited download, upload from the internet and comes with a monthly charge of Rs750 and Rs1350. Paying Rs1350 you basically get a download speed of around 45-60KB/s which is quite something. you can chk the speed from ip-speed test at free of cost.

download some free download booster software, it would help you in gaining some extra download speed.
