I miss aero-soft...your sister forum of years ago.

You guys (aero-soft) were a great source for skins, tips and tricks. although I find plenty of useful customizations here for Vista....(Thanks to all the developers) it was better there and after a several years of hoping that this place would pick up towards Vista. it hasn't..not like aero-soft used to be.

Can you guys bring back aero-soft please?

BTW: I'm being heartfelt serious about this...
this post isn't meant to bring out the trigger happy flamers.

devilsmaster : you see the "Aqua" in aqua-soft that is here for aqua emulation ? Well aero-soft was the more windows oriented part of customisation.

That was about to be my new site name. :P
So, I see it was already taken.

If the owner is still around, it would be nice of him to give it another try and re-open it. ;)

It was closed because of lack of money. Too less people wanted to support the forums.

I certainly hope the next time you post, you decide to research your facts before you make a statement you can't back up.

Many of you may remember that I ended up becoming the last remaining active administrator; shortly after deadzombie left, the site started dying. We had a ton of management issues and a lack of original content from users. I personally sent Timan the message to pull the plug on Aero-Soft because it was dead.

These things take huge amounts of effort; personally, I think a lot of the typical content that used to be there has now been subsumed into the "Vista Discussion" forum here, and that system is currently working well.

Other than that, I'll leave this to liquidplasmaflow and Timan.
