Haven't had time to see how this differs, but this is one I have tried...

It is quite the same, I mean not the "mechanics", but it is doing the same work. The only thing is, that mine has the mac spaces style

Very nice! For whatever reason I thought Spaces pushed unfocused desktops into some vortex/black hole of memory saving that came back when you selected it, but I just found out I was wrong!

I have 2 questions:
1.) If there is a window or app open in one of the desktops, but I forget about it and switch off my computer, is there anyway to have a popup box alerting me there are still windows open?
2.) Has development for this stopped? It's really promising so far.

It seems to hide some of my yahoo widgets but not all, needs to be either or. Works fine with explorer windows but not firefox is that intentional? Also the tray icon could use a check to show what desktop you are currently on. When in Desktoperview it displays on both my monitors.

Sorry, but I lost the whole source code, I need to rewrite everything from scratch. But I don't have time at the moment. So will need some time.

I just downloaded it from osx-e yesterday, and do you think there should be an update where you see the desktop wallpaper in the spaces? Or has this been done?

This isn't a function in the real spaces so I don't think it would be implemented. Although, you never can tell what Schmrom is planning to do with this

This looks like a good free response to ppl who want to have a Spaces port for Windows. I've Downloaded it but haven't tried it yet. I'll see how it works on my Vista SP1 32bit Notebook. BUt before I use it, where do I place the "MySpaces" folder? To C:\Program Files, or to anywhere I want? And how can you add like shortcuts to docks and Quicklaunch? Just make one like any other program?
Also, how can you add it to docks? Like ObjectDock and XWindowsDock, so that when you click the icon once it goes into desktop overview.

Yup, you can put it in C:\Program Files. It doesn't have an installer so you have to copy and paste yourself.
Don't know about the 2nd question, maybe you'll have to ask Atreiu or someone else who creates docklets for XWD to make one.

Ok, so far it works great, I added XWindowsDock to the stickys option so it wouldn't break. And dang that sux, oh well, guess I'll ask Atreiu or something

What mvosx1094 means is if you were supposed to click on the icon that you could go to the myspaces window where you select the desktops. Adding myspace.exe the way you said will just start the app.

Same here. All links posted are either dead, offline, broken, or overrun with ads.
