Great, great, great! No need for kkmenu anymore. This is much better, even yet.

BTW, did you see this guy.

http://smilingcamel.deviantart.com/art/ss0...murize-71688507

He eventually managed to get the stacks curved. No idea if this is a fake. He writes something (not much) in the comments how he did it.

PS.: Is flying cow still in rpoduction?

Ok, this goes in response to posts above:

Fan view (implementing right now).

Yes, sort by Name, Date added, Date modified, Date created, and Kind (file extension probably) is scheduled for implementation.

Drag n' drop a file to the dock icon, to move the corresponding file to the folder.

Once in stack view, drag the file outside the stack (and drop it in explorer, desktop, or whatever). I don't know how to implement this, but is scheduled anyway ;)

Customization of font (this will be a global option to all stack docklets), so any one with Lucida Grande can get a more Mac look and feel.

I only have a question:

What is Samurize? I even visited the page (http://www.samurize.com/), saw the screenshots, and still don't understand what it is. Is it a dock?

"Samurize is an advanced system monitoring and desktop enhancement engine for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista. IT professionals, overclockers, gamers and desktop modders alike use Samurize for system information, weather reports, news headlines and much much more. And best of all, Samurize is 100% free!"

Something like widgets engine.

Would be nice to have more than one stacks in Rklauncher.
Icon selection doesn´t work for me. If I select I get the docklet icon (the green dot with the flash).
Have to change bthe default icon to the one I want.

I find this to be kind of cool if your not one to fish through your start menu.

Bjorn: Actually I just installed it using RocketDock and I've got 3 Separate stacks running at the same time. I'm assuming because its a docklet, that you should be able to have more than one instance running similar to how kkmenu was able to. giving the different settings to each stack it should work fine.

There should be no need to trouble matonga to change that mate. Just open your OB_Mod.ini file in your objectbar directory and type in the name you need the stacks item listed as (you will see the others there - ie. Firefox2.exe=Safari, Explorer.exe=Finder etc. etc.).

I'm not sure if this will work with this app, but it should.

Sorry I have not had the chance to do your OB bars. Are you working with OB2 yet?
I am just too busy to do any skins at the moment.

Good Luck mate!

I suppose that's the window caption :-)

It is the stack window. Because it is borderless (has no title, no borders, no buttons) I didn't change the caption :) Now I changed it to Finder, it will be available in next upload.

I use RKLaucnher 0.41. Beta build 282 (the one that was issued here with KK menu stacks) http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread....auncher+leopard.
downloaded again the latest version of stacks but it doesn't want to open any shortcuts. Files are okay. open in folder shortcut is also okay.

I just don't understand what the problem might be. I have tried different folders. Still no luck.

bSAYZ

which version of RKLauncher do you use.

I use same your version. [RKLaucnher 0.41. Beta build 282]

Aside from my icon not showing up, this is great. Using it along with kkmenu on RKL.

edit - nm, renamed the default icon within the stardocklet folder lol and used my own.

Look for the default ob.ini file in your directory. When you open it you will see that it is designed to rename Win apps to Mac applications. You need to add your new app to the list and then give it the name you want to use. Then save.

I have got OB2 and it seems pretty powerful. I don't do much work on PC so I have not tested it properly it seems to allow transparent values for the ob bar and more.

Busy here mate. Got a lot of work to do for a new movie

Matonga, you're such an incredible developer, first Win Expose then Flying Cow and now this amazing docklet, you're doing such an amazing work for the Mac Emulation on PC, I can't try this new project right now, but soon I'll try it on Vista starter with RocketDock ;)

Sorry for my bad english :(

Hi, as I said, I have tried that little wonder on Objectdock. It works fine except I had trouble choosing an icon.
When I click on the icon button to select the path to my .png, it opens OD's standard icon selection window, I can select my icon but when I click OK the window closes and the path is not in the box, and the docklet keeps its default icon.

The only solution to go round that little hitch was to type the path in the box. Now it works.

I tjought that maybe the shortcuts don't work on my computer because matonga said that these stacks require Gdi+ (GdiPlus).

I have WIn XP SP2 although I couldn't find that GdiPlus. dll file in my system folder. I downloaded and install but still no luck. May be there is smth else ?

Its just a mystery thing. it opens folders, files but none of the shortcuts. just close the grid after I click on any shortcut.

I've tried on my other notebook. The same thing there. Is i a curse ?

Hi there -

thanks for adding the default icon! :)

With AveDesk unfortunately it still doesn't work so far:
I can add the Stack docklet to the Desktop as an AveDesk item. When right-clicking it however, the default AveDesk menu shows up, offering only the "desklet properties" to access options for your docklet.
At "desklet properties" I can change the icon, which is fine.
What I can't find in the default right-click menu, is an option to change the path - which I guess is all that is missing...

This is funny, as the Stack works with OD - there is an extra entry in the default right-click menu for calling the Stack options. This entry is missing with AveDesk.
In RK Launcher I noticed the default menu is suppressed, Stack options show up automatically on a single right-click.
This is strange, too, as e.g. KKMenu, which also suppresses the default menu, works fine with AveDesk. Suppressing the default menu works here.

Well, thought I give you a detailed description - I don't know if you want to spent efforts for making your docklet work with AveDesk, but if, I hope this helps. :)

(What I also tried is, editing the stack entry in the AveDesk theme/config file:
Normally the docklet parameters are stored here in a kind of xml-scheme with
[TMP]Folder=...
This however want work, probably because the parameters listed have to be defined before in the config file, too?! There's a lot of code I can't interprete directly...)
