hey matonga~ this guy has been doing some really interesting things with extending the functionality of explorer, please take a look, especially at QTTabbar, maybe it will provide some inspiration for explorer integration?

This is just fantastic! :D

And I'm really looking forward to the task switcher...
What really is great about Flying Cow and Cubic Dektop is their speed and smoothness!
Finally some Compiz like apps on Win which not only look good but are also fast enough to be really usable. :)
Great work!

Anytime I try to visualize a video with an avi extension I get a Big Red X. It doesn´t matter if the video is a divx or xvid.
When I initialize Flying Cow trying to preview some videos the first fotogram of each movie is displayed for a second in an "Activemovie Window" but as a result I get only a Big Red X.

Any solution?

By the way mpg works perfect !!!

Are you using FFDShow as codec? I had problems with that. You know you are using FFDShow if a icon labeled "FF" appears in the system tray while you play a video in Media Player.

For the ActiveMovie window, I saw that in another computer but can't reproduce the problem in my own PC :(

It would help me a lot if you can tell me what codecs you installed for Xvid / Divx.

Let's go step by step: (don't know right expression in english, in spanish would be "vamos por partes")

You mean MusicPlayer.exe?

In such case:

Does it at least list the albums?

Are your music files in .mp3, .ogg and/or .m4a format? (else it won't work)

Did you edit MusicPlayer.ini? (in next version it will have a settings dialog, that will be much better than having to edit a .ini file).

If it lists the albums, and you go to one and press Enter or left-click, and nothing happens, I forgot to say you need a player supporting .m3u playlists (Winamp supports it).

If you meant about Project1.exe and support for .mov, .flv etc... they will be added later, as I'm trying to figure how to use VLC instead of DirectShow for that part.

Also I'm trying to add support for WhereIsIt preview plugins (you will need a copy of WhereIsIt to use such feature).

Note: I've updated my PC and I'm copying files from old hard drive to new one and reinstalling all apps, please be patient @:-)

Definitively It was a codec problem.
I realized that I didn´t have the divx code installed. Once I installed, all videos played but in an outside window named "Active Window" and I got an error message "no se pueden conectar las patillas" or something similar

One last thing, I am using VLC as my default video player.

Hope this info could help you. By the way INCREDIBLE WORK MAN !!!!!

Try here: http://www.matiasmoreno.bbt.net.ar/flyingc...lease-tests.rar

Notice this is only a mirror, not the main page.

Edit: by the way, I forgot Flying Cow doesn't have a page of it's own yet! :P

This is simply brilliant. Hope optimization and additions continue.

Working brilliantly with all the files i threw at it (At least the ones i expected to work)

Hope you do get VLC implemented, too. That'll open up a whole lotta codecs to you.

Sorry for my bad English please .
Program is very good and work perfect from your *.exe .
But not working then compiled from sources .
Compilation without errors and after choosing directory program hangs.
May suggests - TFlyingCow not creating in compiled application .
I'm using Delphi 7 .
