Widgets won't open

newest version of widgets.
I double click but nothing happens.
I tried a re-install , still no action.

I know this may sound dumb but did you download and install the Widget Engine or just the Widgets?

You will find everyone is very helpful there. Sorry I couldnt be of more help I have not heard of this happening on Windows before.

try right clicking the Y! widgets icon in the task bar then click open widget.... then choose the widget you want to open/use

do the default widgets work? or does this happen to all widgets? does the widgets show up on the dock?

As mentioned above - Nothing happens.
No widget dock what so ever.
No widget menu in the System Tray.
Nothing happens.

I can Run Konfabulator 2.1.1 - but nothing higher.
