Hiya, I can no longer seem to access the site from my main laptop, and it goes straight to google. Is this because my IP has been banned or something? I havent recieved any messages or emails either.

Help appriciated!

Ok . . . Is anybody able to help me on this one or not? It would be nice if you could!

Not sure what it could be, if you're banned you'll get a message. But it will not redirect you to google. What would be the point in us doing that.

I hate always saying this, but you might have spyware/ or some other software that has messed with your browser/inet settings.

Maybe, ill do a sweep. But when I use a Proxy server (just to see if my IP was banned!) I am allowed onto the site, lol?

Any theories?

You were right. I had Spyware (well its not really spyware just a hi-jack that changes some of the settings of your DNS, another flaw in the Windows OS) on my computer.

Symptoms:
Every time you type in a wrong URL (e.g, www.google.co.u/) your browser goes to searchathand.com instead of a blank page.

Resolution/Fix: (These are my own steps and may not work for you!)
1. Click on start, then click on Control Panel
2. In the control panel (make sure you are in classic view!), click on Network Connections
3. Right click on your main internet connection and choose Properties
4. In the window that pops up, there is a scroll box. Highlight the option Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click on Properties
5. Makesure that the option Obtain DNS server address automatically is checked.
6. Restart your computer/laptop and it will be gone.

Hope this helps anyone else in my situation!

Hehe, glad you worked it out. I just knew it wasn't us doing that. I would redirect people to microsoft.com or some other funny site :P
