Hi guys,
I am your worst nightmare: the dumb user who just wants to install some nifty desklets. The ones I've downloaded are bleating angrily at me that I need AveScripter installed in order to complete their installation, however I've downloaded what's listed on the website as the AveScripter file and am having no luck.
The file I've downloaded from there (Aveinst AveScripter (1.3) in the Development category) contains an XML doc, a PNG file and a Readme file, and no dll file as mentioned by pcm in this thread -
http://www.aqua-soft...ead.php?t=43411 - when telling someone how to install AveScripter.
As such, I'm wondering if I've even got the right file....(?) but either way, if someone could shed a little light for me on how I can go about getting this thang happening, I'd be dreadfully, horribly grateful.
Ta, guys.

Open the AveDesk control panel and drag'n'drop the aveinst file onto it.
There should be a *.bat file in the AveDesk folder to register the aveinst filetype if memory serves correctly.
