I simply just don't like the new look... the wallpapers are nice, but the aqua scrollbars and brushed metal are way more cooler than the new one... I hope that people can make skins to have the old brushed metal & aqua scrollbars on Leopard. That's my opinion

Leopard is indeed gonna be awesome... but that's exactly what I'm talking about... I hope that people make skins so that we can still have aqua on leopard, because I'm sure that just because of that little problem, many people that love aqua will prefer to get tiger than leopard, so... I hope Apple makes a good decision! Either don't change aqua, or give the chance to skin leopard!!

Aqua is getting old. Aqua was good during the Panther and Pre-Panther days. Now, it's time for a new look. I hope they won't make an Aqua theme and that will make people use the new theme that Leopard has and like it. Why go back to the past?

Well, I'm sure plenty of people don't like the new style, so It would be good if someone can make an aqua skin for leopard, or even better, have the skins in the sytem as windows does, that says "classic windows" and shows the 1998 windows GUI

I want Cover Flow scrollbars (I originally wanted iTunes 7 scrollbars but changed my mind) in Leopard and I guess most people will like it (if it has Cover Flow scrollbars) and won't download an Aqua theme for Leopard.

I found this one hard to answer. I wanted to answer all of them.
In the end I answered 'No', because the majority of the new gui I dont like the look of.
Yes- certain elements are nice- the new dock shape, the borderless windows, the transparent menubar (ohh get over it, its not that vista like), the new space wallpaper, coverflow and new preview/stacks feature look.
No- 90% of the elements I dont like- such as the new button look, the scoll bars, anything remotely reminiscent of the new itunes 7 gui (with exception of coverflow).
I dont care so long as it can be skinned- true, and I will be skinning it myself, but I think its a shame that people will get the wrong impression- Apple is throwing away the look that made them famous and replacing it with one that looks almost reminiscent of windows classic.
Dont get me wrong, aqua was getting stale... but they could have done a lot better job.

Yes, I voted YES too... Once you start using it, it's going to grow on you... and that's when you'll notice how constant it looks and feels across the OS than earlier mixture of Brushed Metal, Aqua and Plastic was.
Another reason that comes to my mind regarding the new interface (cold metal), is that Apple's is trying to make the interface bit soft on older hardware. So that Leopard feels responsive even on G3/G4 models. Off course that's just my thinking... I could be wrong.

To be quite frank, I hope and pray with all my might that pinstipes will be nonexistent in Leopard. When I saw Tiger, I was hooked on the Aqua look, but still was bothered by the existence of pinstriping. I think Tiger was a successful TRANSITION gui that helped ease Mac users out of the classic aqua interface and into the modern, more professional, unified metal look.
I prefer it because it's darker, mostly. I've always been a fan of themes that are dark, but still nicely cooperate with black text, and I think Apple has done well in this respect. Believe me, all the white in Aqua kinda makes my eyes hurt when I use my computer in a dark room.
The dock is beautiful. No doubt about it, it's a very clean and elegant way to showcase your applications and shortcuts. No better way to "wow" someone than showing them a window reflected into a 3D dock BUILT INTO THE OS! Wicked.
Transparent menubar kinda has me iffy. It's the one part of Leopard that I didn't think quite fit, but I think of it like this: it makes your workspace look bigger. Instead of seeing a cropped version of your wallpaper, you see an overlay on top of your entire wallpaper. Still the same amount of working space, but it appears more spread out that way.
I've learned not to pass bad judgment on the Beta, because it can spoil the enjoyment you may have for the Release version

Why do so many people have something negative to say about the Transparent Menu Bar? Almost every comment I seen about Leopard is negatives about the Transparent Menu Bar. I just don't understand why a lot of people don't like it. I think the Transparent Menu Bar is great and would be good for the eyes. I think when people start to use Leopard the whining will go away and they will like the Transparent Menu Bar. It's just something to get used to for most people.

Well I like the transparent part but not the gradient thingy. I also don't like how it is not rounded. I still like the normal tranparency.
