yea... you get the option to "mark the forum as read" in the Aqua-Soft menu with Safari and you lose the "log out" feature.
Edit: Helps if i log int first. Then you get the log out option. DOH!
Buddy list option is available with Safari as well.

I'm confused?
Should look the same in Safari as it does in Firefox, expect for the searchbox and the drop shadows.
Sounds like you ladies have Javascript disabled.

Could be a glitch for regular members? I remember seeing this before I was promoted. I just always thought it was browser detection stuff that Safari couldn't render correctly. But now it's not there.

The pics I posted were Firefox 2.0.0.4 for Windows and Safari 3.0.2 for Windows.
As you can see, I was logged into AS in both instances.
Both have java and javascript enabled.

Alright, seems to be a Safari Windows only issue. (Shitty browser, you ladies should know better than to be using that crap). I'll look into a fix.

So which toolbar should us "regular" members be seeing?
And for the record, I use Firefox. Safari for Windows isn't stable enough for daily use yet.

You should never see the Mark Forums Read / Open Buddy list buttons unless you have JS disabled. Guests/Members doesn't matter.
Firefox is showing the right toolbar, only thing I can suggest is deal with it for now and hopefully apple fixes it for the windows version. Cause its perfect on the Mac.

The one sans Mark Forums Read and Open Buddy List, at least that is the set-up I get.

In Firefox, it doesn't matter if JS is enabled or disabled, I still see the same toolbar.
Something tells me there is a bug in the script.
Same thing with IE7... enabled or disabled... makes no difference. Same toolbar.

You guys are confusing...
The toolbar you get in Safari for Windows is
WRONG and should only appear to users with JS disabled.
(If user can't do drop down menus, it shows those extra icons and hides the quicklinks one)
Another thing you guys might not of known, if you click the arrow in firefox/ie you can select to search aquasoft through that

Gotcha Timah.
Add another bug to the Safari for Windows list.
But my point about JS was that even when I disable it in Firefox or IE7, I still get the same toolbar you would get if js WAS enabled.
Hence the part about a possible script bug in the header.

rjohnstone,
what happens when you click on the click links button in FF with javascript disabled?
I disabled, refreshed then clicked the button and it brought up the correct bar.
Edit: Okay, I just posted this message and the quicklinks was back but, same thing as above.
