well i have removed my quick launch so i want to be able to just click an icon that will minimize all my windows and take me to my desktop

Then, can you make a Yahoo widget that runs a script or launches a file?

Yeah thats what i was thinking...only problem is i dont know how to do it, thus the request. thanks for the suggestion tho

On Windows you can just press Win key+D to show the desktop so you might find it easier than a Widget.
