as far as i know it works, of course i'll have to get a linux user to test it, but the skin doesn't use any native rendering that would make it either mstheme or OS specific.

Just a question: how do you get the tabs in the middle? Is it a 1.2 feature? Can it be done in Phoenix?

you would have to extract the theme jar and open global/browser.css and under the idclass ".tabbrowser-tabs" add that line. then repackage the chrome and reload mozilla.

I have been looking for an aqua theme for Mozilla for ages. Thank you for the work. Will there be a Brushed Metal version? :D

right now, i plan on releasing this probably sometime tomorrow, with a webpage designed for it. ill let you all know.

as far as support goes - someone mentioned they would like support for the home button addon. in response, i have added the necessary code and images, so that's supported. as i stated before, this skin was done using the newest skin version (1.2) and was made using the latest nightlies, so. it should all be good.

- aquafied throbber... anyone know if there's one made? does anyone want to make one?

the theme does seem to be working rather well too. it's been constantly tested by someone who showed initial interest and has incorporated some of his ideas. in addition, the person who made the pinstripe theme for OSX has tested it and it worked fine, which is great because it means all if not most of the operating system ties have been cut from the theme, though the fonts are still pulled from the system, but shouldn't pose a problem.

as time goes on more and more little tweaks will make this skin really cool to use.

there has been questions about a brushed version. personally, i don't know what why everyone is so enamored with such a horrible looking theme idea, but they are. i'm not sure if it's possible to do it in mozilla, just because it would require image streching and resizing in mozilla, and im not sure it can do that. in addition, as slow as XUL is, i really can't see it dealing with that amount of a load.

if anyone has any ideas for a brushed theme, however, im not completely opposed to pleasing the masses.

im glad you all are happy with the work done so far, just remember there's a lot more work to be done.
