I know many of you (including me) still use Samurize and have a lot of fun doing so. But I think the status of a program should be measured by its advances. As of late, we've seen the Samurize 0.90 come out with hardly any improvements except TaskBar support (and this was still buggy). Plus - in this AquaSoft forum there are some 5 topics about the program and no real progress. Did interest fall? Is DesktopX2 washing out Samurize?

What do you think?

DesktopX (2 or 1) doesn't do graphs and has hardly any monitoring funtions. But I've had it with Samurize so I'm going to be moving over to DesktopX anyway.

Well guys...

Now that Judge is out of it - I think we can pretty much say the party's over. For those of you that don't know (I don't understand how you can not know this but...) Judge is one of the leading Samurize scripters out there with scripts such as Desktop Weather , Calander and more...

Well Judge - I hope to see many more great creations from you weather it be on Samurize or DesktopX... :own:

I love Samurize and as long as it is available I will use it. Sure it has some bugs, the dev team admitted that when .90 was released, but it works great.
As for DX2, I will not switch to that. I have tried every version of Desktop 1 and it is a horrible app. It was probably the buggiest program I've ever used. I hate it. Unless Desktop2 is 100% better than version 1 I don't see any reason to use it.

Samurize died for me since it adopted that fugly icon, included other icons in the install folder, and prevented you from using them by preventing a successful reshack.

yeah, they included those other icons, so one would think changing the systray icon would be possible. there's no way? i'd like to change it too.

hopefully there'll be bug fixes in the newer version, whenever that is. but it does feel like the energy has really died down. either everyone has already gotten a good grasp of samurize and really can't do much more, or people are losing interest, which is rather sad.
