Windows Vista Sidebar Transparency

Is there a way to make the vista sidebar fully transparent? No matter what I do, it seems to always leave a black shadow on the side which gets annoying if you're using a bright wallpaper.

Yeah i have a totally transparent sidebar all i done was patch the sidebar exe with this skin patcher ;)

Easy, BUT first of all... download THIS sidebarby Thoojse http://www.thoosje.com/sidebar.html Then tochange the backround (includes fully transparent) cycle through the < and > at the top

hi i found an easy way no downloads nothing just right click on desktop / personalise/ desktop theams change to windows vista / apply then go to backgrounds and put your personal background on click apply and voila jod done cushty luvly jubbly
