I had the same problems months ago, when I was trying to install finderbar. I ended up uninstalling styler, then re installing it again. Touch wood it seems to be working fine.
A bit drastic I know but it might work.

I seem to be having the same problem! anyone ? Ive tried reinstalling and repairing but still no joy ! only other thing I can think of is the dreaded system restore but I really dont wanna have to do that.
Many thanks

I don't know if this will help anyone here but it worked for me. I had the same problem but I was also running QT bar just for the tab. I uninstalled QT bar and reinstalled Styler and have had no problems with it anymore.

It's not a .net Issue because Styler is not a .net program. I've had issues between QT & Styler which probably is a conflict with a call to GDI or the main api?
People aren't going to like this but, your best bet is to go completely with QTTabBar or some other app. Essentially Styler is no longer being developed while QT is in active development.

I agree with SirSmiley 100% mainly because it's better to support active developers. I only miss styler for it's ability to hide explorer's win flag.
As QT apps currently do not provide this option, does anyone know of a simple, safe, light on resources, and completely reversible solution to removing the "WIN flag" on Explorer (and IE while we're at it?)

You can get rid of the other toolbars like Standard buttons, uncheck it, and unlock the toolbars. It might be hid in that mess.

open control panel,
open Internet Options,
select the Programs tab at the top,
click Manage Addons,
find StylerToolbar on the list,
enable it,
click ok, then ok
