RK Launcher prevents the computer from shutting down

Hello
I really love flyakite OS X on my Computer but sometimes unreasonable problems occur.
When I want to shot down the computer, Windows XP (prof.) says that RK Launcher needs to be closed properly and I have tp press "cancel" otherwise the system would not shot down at all.
So could you explain me why it does this?
