Hi, I think RunMe is a must-have for xp and vista(i don't have one yet).

it happened several time when it launched and RunMe seeemd to "re-link missing stuffs" by prompting a message board; when I clicked no, it would be invisible(I couldn't find RunMe when I mouse-overed the edge of the desktop(top most of the time in me) and nothing happaned.

So I have to copy all re-installed and re-configured new RunMe folder as backup for future use, in case this happens again.

By the wich, which files or folders are esential for backup use, meaning the ones to replace any new-installed RunMe( so I don't have to configure all again)?

Yes, this is because Windows Media Player uses a technique called overlaying, in Windows XP and older Windows.

The only easy way I know to screenshot an overlaid video is to disable hardware acceleration. But this is too complicated to explain, let's go to the easier (may not work, but should) way:

First, open a Windows Media Player, and play a video (any video).

Now open IcyRadio with the video you want to screenshot.

Because most video cards can do only one overlay, Windows Media Player will have it's video overlaid, but IcyRadio won't be able to use one because it is being used by WMP.

So now just minimize Windows Media Player (or even closing it should still IcyRadio continue to use a non-overlaid video) and take the screenshot.

Note: if your computer is rather old or video is rather big, you will notice a performance degrade because of IcyRadio not using an overlay to display the video. Don't worry, if you close WMP and IcyR and reopen IcyRadio it should use overlay again as always.

For Windows Vista I suppose KSoft is using Aero, in such case no overlays are used (instead, pixel shaders and alike provide all the hardware acceleration needed) so you can take screenshots there with no problems.

1. I guess you can use Hypersnap for overlay screenshots. Somewhere there is setting in there.

2. Is this ichat a Trillian skin or what program? Can you post a link?

Btw, do you know runme.exe could be treated as a spyware or virus cos it happened here when i did the scanning, twice.

Yes, it's possible to place RunMe at top of screen.
Not like dock, only like menu but at top.
"Setting" -> "Position" -> set radio button under image of desktop and Apply changes.
(You can have Tab or whole RunMe edge on screen, Tab disabled on "Settings" -> "Other" page)

Now RunMe use 48x48 system icons.

Hello and thanks for this great program.
I've tested a lot of similar programs, but found yours the best of all.

One little thing: The animated slide in of the menu needs about 2 seconds, although the speed is set to maximum.
Changes at the speed slider doesn't change anything. Changing the theme doesn't make it faster.

Could anyone help please ?
