Usually if you set the window(*) with the "WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW" long parameter too (I say too because I think you already use "WS_EX_LAYERED") programs such as TaskSwitchXP don't list it.

Maybe it is possible to use relative paths to the programmes and icons in the menu?

If so, me can us it as a launcher app for usb stick applications. As you now, the drive letter changes on different pc's...

Unfortunately also the icons paths (i use mac png files, very nice) are not stored in a "relative path" manner. Regardsless if i use the checkbox in the icon selection filebox. Editing and changing the 1.xml file did the job in version 081 but not in 085?

For the applications it's not a big problem, because I can change it to relative my self when I'm entering them, but for the icons I don't know how....

It would be great to use this app as a USB launcher!!!

Huh? Could you decribe how you did it? Maybe a screenshot? I've tried it with V0.85 and it did'nt work for sure.

As a stated earlier, it worked for the icons, but only in 0.81 when i modify the xml file directly.

Found the workaround

Also if "use relative path" is checked when selection an icon, the name and path are stored static in the xml file. For the apps this kind of selctions seams to work.

The workaround is:
Close Runme
Open 1.xml with your favorite editor
Search an replace all driveletters from
u:MyMobileAppssuperappSuperdupertool.exe
to
%DISC%MyMobileAppsuperappSuperdupertool.exe

It's me again

Strange behavior on my other pc: RunMe does not slide out, when it looses the focus. It's still open and on screen. The same config (moved be copying the whole dir while runme is not open) on the other machine works with no problems. If i leave RunMe with the mouse pointer it slides in to the left as expected.

Any hints whats wrong?

Ksoft my congratulations for the time you have spended on creating this tool. I use it and i am happy with the results. But i have one little problem. I mostly use it for shorting out my games by category but some games have huge titles. I tryed to edit the theme but i cant find the paraneter that lets me raise the width of the slave panel. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Ty for your time reading this and i ty all for making me a part of this community.

Hi, I just dlded RunMe and have used it for days. I like it a lots.

Now I put most of my less-frequently used programs/folders/...to RunMe by organizing them well.

The only problem I encountered once was that I couldn't seem to find RunMe( when I moved my mouse/cursor near RunMe( Top/L/R) , it didn't show up.

So I have to use my backup RunMe to do all the D/D again. It never happens now. But I want to now if there is any easier solution.

Hello, at first try this theme:

It can be problem in skin.

Just set theme in config.ini like this (this long line is a name of skin folder):
...
LastSkin=Aqua White (with user image+new animation)
...

Can You please send me Your "1.XML" from RunMe folder if 1st method not work? It's not important what will be in this file (maybe only a pair of links), more important that with this file You have application crash. My mail: ksoft(a)nm.ru

Please tell me how it works/not works.

On screenshot, I have tried Any Capture application in XP (this program can make screenshots from games), but I see only black screen also
I did screenshot in Vista and here PrintScreen works well.
So, unfortunately, I don't know how, but it's Windows Media Player screen and maybe there are methods in inet. forums?
