nrossow - What skin problems? You mean the Amora skin? it's developer needs to fix it. You can do it manually, but it's a bit complicated.
tbowie - It will never work in XP due to the OS limitations. It works fine in Vista though.
Kayufa - I've just tested it here, with a 5.5G iPod, and it works. Make sure you have a direct connection to the internet, it won't download if you need a proxy.

Localhost ,
Still concerning the Hebrew support . I am still getting the same error message . I am connected directly to the internet . Have a 20Gb 4th Gen.. Tried out every single possibility I could think of.
Is this working for everyone else out there ?
Please advise .
Many Thanks

zondajag:
I've never had the iTunes-doesn't-close problem. I guess it's caused by iTunes widgets and such. Can you tell me which widget program and widget are you using so I could test it?
Kayufa:
Do you have the HP 4G iPod by any chance?
I'm not sure the hebrew support feature works for those.
It might help if you tell me the generation identifier of your iPod,
for this you should go to C:Documents and Settings%USERNAME%Application DataApple ComputeriTunesiPod Software Updates, and you will see file(s) like iPod_xx.x.x with an iTunes icon on them.
Post their names here.
If you don't see any files there, download an update for your iPod (you don't have to install it).

yep it is caused by the various avedesk itunes widgets, a shortcut in objectdock i wasnt saying theres anything wrong with multiplugin that works like a treat...i was just saying it was a shame that none of the widgets work without causing the itunes closing problem (though im not implying you should or have to fix that either) thanks for such a great add on man

Localhost ,
I found one file in that folder matching the description you gave .
ipod_11.1.2.1
As for my ipod - its a 4th Gen, but I have no clue what HP stands for . Did you mean PHoto by any chance ? If you did then the answer is yes.
Waiting for your reply .
Thank you.

I never knew there were iPods with a generation ID of 11.
Please post the iPod_11.1.2.1 file and I'll make a hebrew version of it.
btw in HP I meant Hewlett Packard, the printer company. There used to be an HP branded 4G iPod.
Edit: Nevermind, I have the file.

Just wanted to say I really appreciate your work on this. I'm wondering however about the option that allows you to remove iTunes from the taskbar. I selected it but it still shows up. I restarted iTunes but it's there still. It worked on the 2.4 release but not here. Any help? Thanks!

I've tried Konfabulator with iTunes Remote widget and AveDesk with AveTunes, and I don't have the problem.
If I could recreate it, I think I could fix it quite easily. I'll just deny any COM requests to iTunes until it terminates, so programs won't be able to start it until it's fully closed.
