Hi there -
sorry to hear that. I can't say what's causing this right now - but maybe you can help me there:
After right-clicking an icon, can you open the desklet's properties (right-click anything else and choose them in the menu or open it via the AveDesk control panel). Within the properties dialog you'll find a tab called "AveScripter Error Log" - could you tell me, what's written there after right-clicking an icon?
Second question would be, if you discovered problems with any other (AveScripter) desklets when trying to 'flip' them (weather desklet etc.)?

Hi again -
did some research on this error code:
Actually it looks like this isn't a bug of MorphDock, but a problem of your PC with the so-called 'Windows Scripting Host' (or WSH or Active Scripting Host).
The WSH normally is already installed with XP or Vista and with MorphDock e.g. helps me to get a list of items in a folder (in this case before opening the settings).
Your PC seems to have problems to get access to the WSH -
this could be due to
- a program disabling scripting on your PC (antivirus like norton, noscript etc.
While disabling scripting when surfing in the internet might be a good idea, disabling scripting in generell and don't give users a hint like some av's do is a bad one).
- the installation of WSH is messed up in some way
- some registry keys regarding the WSH have been changed (Tune-up-utilities etc.)
Solutions:
- Disable script blocking if any. For surfing the internet, there are plugins like noscript for your browser.
- Installing WSH again (for XP: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en)
- With Vista some users experiencing this have solved the problem by registering the 'scrrun.dll' again via regsvr32.exe... (I attached some links with more information below)
Hope this helps...
Sorry that I don't have an easier solution, but it really looks like it's a problem with your PC. So a remote diagnosis is alway a bit tricky...

Hi there
-
I updated 'MorphDock' to v1.2 (fixed some bugs, added single tab support for OSX style sliding docks) and also released a vertical dock skin for it:

Hi there
-
The last version already is out there (sorry, haven't discovered your post earlier).
So far it'll stay the last as the future of AveDesk is unclear unfortunately (especially with Win7 coming up - although it'll take at least another year till one can switch).
But the only issues left with MorphDock I discovered are minor anyway
(some bug when switching skins with different amount of tabs, the sometimes appearing problem of AveDesk/-scripter when drag/dropping lnk's), so I think it'll should work fine for most users.

Hey there, I'm very interested in MorphDock, however it's not working very well for me. (Images and Shortcuts won't load onto the dock, and the Desklet won't flip back over after editing settings.)
This is either - I have decided - because I haven't got a recent enough version of AveScripter, or because I'm using Vista and that tends to mess things up. I'm not sure which version of AveScripter I am running, but I thought I may as well try updating just in case that is the problem. The only problem is I can't find a working link to the latest AveScripter version, mainly because the www.avedesk.org website refuses to load for me for some strange reason. Could you point me in the right direction?
