Right click an iKon, choose "iKon Preferences" and a new window should pop up. In the "Target" box, specify a drive path (i.e. C:) and look at the Main Label box - there is an arrow button on the right side of it. Click it and choose the information you want to insert to the label.

You can use iKons to represent the recycle bin of a certain drive: open the iKon Preferences dialog and click the "search" button on the right of the "Location:" text box. Choose "Select Folder/Drive" and select a drive. Now choose the "Recycled" folder (You might need to enable the option to show hidden content in Explorer in order to see it).

Hello I just downloaded this widget and I think its great. I was using ave desk before but was trying to find a one program solution.
I was wondering is there a way to auto mount a drive with ikons. For example when using ave desk if I disconnect my usb drive the icons fades and disappears from the desktop. Just wondering if this feature was possible. Thanks for any information.

Thanks, it is a beta version so there might be some bugs but maybe the icon is originally transparent or translucent?
To change the icon just open an iKon's preferences window and click its icon in the window which should pop up. It is easier to just drag and drop an image file (refrain from using windows icon files because they are not fully supported) to the image which appears in the preferences window.
By the way, I'm really busy these days (working on better Widget like Neon Clock) so sorry if I don't reply on time. I'm also not planning any updates to this Widget so there's no need to ask for new features.

i know you might not see this but i don't think that ditching this widget is a good idea. It is very good, i would rather have an AutoMounter. Hide Desktop Icons, and the iKon effect itself in one package rather than having different desklets like in AveDesk (no offense Andreas
). I personally think you should continue with this.
Edit: BTW how do i add the recycling bin? where is the RECYCLED folder?
