I installed this version for itunes 7 and Local, your right about that Foobar2000 is not yet working 100% This passthrough is the most important reason for me to use multi plugin. I just love using foobar + ASIO + 24/96 resampling with my lovely Esi Juli@ :D

What doesnt seem to work in the passthrough is at least with the winding part, that you need to "pause and unpause" you song it to refresh its seeking position ;P

Also "gapless playback" + multiplugin wont work which was just "the new thing" in this IT7.

Somewhat strange that foobar can play gapless but not when driven from itunes (i notice fast pop sound when it changes the tune) ...oh well, cant have it all i guess :)

Oh and the biggest funny thing is that its playing two soundcards same time, the integrated and the one configured in the Foobar ...sounds kinda funny :P

Update:
Good news! I've managed to get MPlugin.dll working in C:Program FilesiTunes :)
That means the installer won't be changed, and Web Update will still work.
I had to disable the digital signature checks in iTunes.exe - which means that if you have Multi-Plugin installed, you can also modify iTunes.exe (change icons, etc.).

Very Cool. I'm installing ITunes 7 now. I now really can't wait for the final release!

Thanks, localhost! :)

Update: A couple of teething problems, but it works great now!

Excellent. :D

Question though, does this still have the bug with iPods that when you try to update with a large amount of files, it crashes?

Another update:
Foobar2000 passthrough will probably be gone for some time. Apparently iTunes doesn't play through waveOut even if it's explicitly specified in the QuickTime preferences, and muting DirectSound is harder (but possible, I'll just have to learn how).
I've also added a new feature - convert uppercase titles in the source pane (like PLAYLISTS) to normal ones (Playlists).
This will probably be a stable release - moving MPlugin.dll back to it's normal path made things a lot more stable.
If it doens't make problems by then, I'll post it tomorrow.

One problem has arisen. I've been closing iTunes 7 with multiplugin, and it crashes, then restarts automatically. Repeatedly. I'm laying off of it until a release comes.

Other than that, it works great!

ChimChim - You should delete MPlugin.dll from C:Program FilesiTunes with this version.

Ok I fixed it.

Move or Copy MPlugin.dll to C:Program FilesiTunes

LOL sorry, it did work that way. Moved the 1 in C:Program Files iTunes & put it in C:Program FilesQuickTimeQTSystem works.

Thanks localhost
