Those look awesome! My favourite bit, though, is the dashboard icon in your screenshots, with the AveDesk logo in it.

Oh yeah?

Yeah. Those Pages and Keynote application icons are not a part of the Mac OS X Leopard Preview and they were posted on the Net ages ago. iWork '06 is not located on the Mac OS X Install DVD, simple as that.

Posting other icons that are from Mac OS X Leopard at a later time doesn't change that fact.

So you took those icons from Leopard and that proves what?

If you're so smart didn't it come to you that Pages and keynote are NOT a part of Leopard nor they will be? Oh yeah?

As to the "pwnd" b1tches, learn to spell ;)

thats expose i think... doesnt really fit the group imo... those photorealistic components look out of place to me.

It's not "expose", it's "spaces". Check it out: http://www.apple.com...ard/spaces.html

O_o They are sooo cool! But what exactly would be the point of them being SO large?

It's easier to start big and scale down. Normally i'd start an icon on a 1000x1000 pixel space.
Plus, monitors are getting much larger with much higher pixel densities. Pretty soon you'll be needing these big icons. Also, if the proposed scalable interface in leopard is true, it could be important.

I've been looking, but where are the drive icons in your screenshot from? Those definitely aren't from Leopard, but they're more sedate than a lot of the ones I've seen. Something I could live with for a long time. :)

I guess this all comes back to the eternal question "Is bigger really better?"
Well as my wife says, "Hell yes!";)

It is. You can enable it with a single terminal command. Still doesn't look anywhere near finished but they're definitely working on it.
