Love the widget dock.

I like being able to visually see the skins for Avetunes. Guess this is where the difference in tastes are.

As for everyone giving their kudos. The upgrade to the control panel & the theme browser is wonderful. Looks somewhat similar to umm *cough* desktopX but, that's one of my favorite features in it as well.

Hey Ave,
once again, fantastic work - this looks and works great! As others have said, I really like the previews you get in the 'Add Desklet' dialogue - makes things much simpler.

One thing I noticed different in the new PidlShortcut desklet is that there aren't as many formatting switches for the label. I used to be able to display the percentage of free/used space using the %pF switch but this doesn't seem to be useable in the new version. Unless I'm missing something here?

Anyway, thanks for your continued hard work and making this fantastic app (one of my absolute faves) available to the community for free!

Both 1.0 & 1.0 LE work for me. Though I dragged from the control panel to desktop. Did you try a reinstall of Lucid?

Thank you for this v.2 try out Ave and the widgetdock is very cool .
Since there is no bug thread for v.2 here is a bug that got crippled but not killed .

In my case tray icon was always there after explorer.exe reloaded in v1.3 but the same thing happens with v2 . After explorer restarted i got invisible desklets like v1.3 plus this message .

Tried to change some label properties on a PIDLshortcut

Desklet Properties/Label Tab/sublabel/shadow/settings button throws a "debug assertion failed" error. If I click "abort", Avedesk closes immediately. If I click "ignore" 4 times, the shadow settings box pops up. If I change any setting and click OK another "debug assertion failed" box pos up and I have to hit "ignore" twice and the change I made is applied. If you need any more info , let me know.

I've had my pidlshortcuts crash and dissappear several times when dragging something to the recycle bin.

Click that big cross that appeasr in your top left corner.

Then drag desklets from the dock to the desktop, and should work. Magic!

I also find it kind of annoying that all my avetunes skins are mixed up with all my other desklets. An "exclude from dock" list or something would be a good idea maybe.
