i´m going to assume that dropdown menus style are from the firefox skin itself....to change background menu just open your .jar skin and than edit menulist-labelbox.png located on globalmenu (you might want to change background to lighter color)....to change font color on dropdown menu open .jar skin and edit menu.css (located on global folder),scrolldown and add this line ´ color: #ffffff !important; ´ whitout quotes (in this case it is white, you choose according to your preferences) to :

/* ::::: menu/menuitems in popups ::::: */

menupopup > menu,
popup > menu,
menupopup > menuitem,
popup > menuitem {
padding: 2px;
max-width: 42em;
<---------put line here
}
hope this is helpfull

Thanks you.

One more question, if I want to get rid of the scrollbar skinning on a theme but keep the rest of it how could I do that?

to use your VS or WB scrollbars you must place this @import url("chrome://global/skin/subskin/systemscroll.css"); into your userChrome and your userContent
